Epiphytic herb with long, sometimes branched stems. Leaves concentrated near the ends of stem and branches, thick and fleshy. Inflorescences 1-many pendent spikes, arising below the leaves. Flowers translucent cream to straw-yellow, sweetly scented at night. Petals almost circular; lateral sepals spreading elliptic; lip broad and curving downwards; spur 5-7 mm slightly swollen in the middle.

Rhipidoglossum xanthopollinium ( portugais )

Rhipidoglossum xanthopollinium é uma espécie de orquídea, família Orchidaceae, que existe em onze países da África tropical.[1] Trata-se de planta epífita, monopodial com caule que mede pelo menos vinte centímetros de comprimento e tem folhas alternadas ao longo de todo o caule; cujas pequenas flores tem um igualmente pequeno nectário sob olabelo.[2]
