Craugastor polymniae is a species of frog in the family Craugastoridae. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Craugastor polymniae est une espèce d'amphibiens de la famille des Craugastoridae^[1].

Répartition

Cette espèce est endémique de l'État d'Oaxaca au Mexique^[1]. Elle se rencontre à Vista Hermosa vers 1 500 m sur le versant Nord de la Sierra Juárez.

Craugastor polymniae is een kikker uit de familie Craugastoridae. De soort werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Jonathan Atwood Campbell, William W. Lamar en David Mark Hillis in 1989. Oorspronkelijk werd de wetenschappelijke naam Eleutherodactylus polymniae gebruikt.^[2]

De soort komt voor in delen van Midden-Amerika en leeft endemisch in Mexico.^[3] Craugastor polymniae wordt bedreigd door het verlies van habitat.
