Amphilophus flaveolus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de cichliden (Cichlidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2008 door Stauffer, McCrary & Black.

黃雙冠麗魚，為輻鰭魚綱鱸形目隆頭魚亞目慈鯛科的其中一種，分布於中美洲尼加拉瓜Apoyo流域，體長可達13.6公分，棲息在中底層水域，生活習性不明。
