Eucavitaves ( englanti )

Eucavitaves is a clade that contains the order Trogoniformes (trogons) and the clade Picocoraciae (a large assemblage of birds that includes woodpeckers, kingfishers, hornbills and hoopoes).[1][2][3][4][5][6] The name refers to the fact that the majority of them nest in cavities.

Eucavitaves è un clade di uccelli che contiene l'ordine Trogoniformes (trogoni) e il clade Picocoraciae (un insieme di uccelli che comprende picchi, martin pescatori, buceri e upupe).[1][2][3][4][5][6] Il nome Eucavitaves fa riferimento al comportamento comune di questi uccelli di costruire i loro nidi nella cavità degli alberi.
