This plant is densely glandular-hairy annual. Stems are erect and branched. Leaves 0.6-1.5 x 0.3-0.6 cm, ovate, elliptic or narrowly oblanceolate, obtuse to subacute, attenuate at the base, and petiolate. Pedicel is 3-5 mm; bracteoles are 1 or 2, minute, or 0; calyx-lobes are 4-5 x 1 mm, elliptic-oblanceolate, and subacute. Corolla is 1 cm, and blue. Capsule is 8-9 x 3 mm, narrowly ovoid, and attenuate at the apex. Seeds are 0.5 mm, cylindrical, striate, and yellowish-brown.
