Aptilosia is a monotypic moth genus in the subfamily Arctiinae. Its only species, Aptilosia crocea, is found in Costa Rica and Panama. Both the genus and species were first described by William Schaus in 1911.[1][2][3]

Aptilosia crocea is een beervlinder uit de familie van de spinneruilen (Erebidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1911 door Schaus.
