2011-05-07 Burgenland, district Mattersburg (Kogelberg, 305 msm Quadrant 8264/4).German names: Echt-Walnuss (Juglans); Schwarz-Germer (Veratrum); Gross-Windrsschen (Anemone)Juglans has been planted; the other species are native. This is a rather strange and rare combination of plants, which obviously came into existence because a former fruit tree meadow is in the process of becoming abandoned (Veratrum usually would prefer forests rather than meadows); the bushes surrounding this little meadow mostly are Crataegus monogyna and Rhamnus cathartica.
