The size of the shell varies between 6 mm and 10 mm.
This marine species occurs off Southeast Australia.

Monilea gloriola is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Trochidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1929 door Iredale.
