Coloration in life: Dorsal surface is bright iridescent metallic green with dark brown reticulum; lateral surfaces with iridescent greenish gold with small black spots following continuation of dorsal reticulum to midbody that fades to pinkish gray ventrally; dorsolateral ridges bright iridescent gold; dorsum coloration present on limbs with purplish dark brown transverse bars with distinct rows of white spicules (Brown et al., 2000).
