Pascula ochrostoma (Blainville 1832)

Pascula ochrostoma is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.^[1]

Description

The shell size varies between 11 mm and 35 mm

Distribution

This species is distributed in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along Aldabra, Chagos, Madagascar, the Mascarene Basin, the Seychelles and Tanzania. It is also known from the Western Pacific Ocean, the Philippines and North and Western Australia.

Pascula ochrostoma is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Muricidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1832 door Blainville.

海绵结螺（学名：Pascula ochrostoma），是新腹足目骨螺科Pascula的一种。主要分布于中国大陆、台湾，常栖息在低潮线下。^[1]
