Okanagana rubrovenosa is known from Arizona, California, Oregon, and Utah (U.S.A.). It is found in chaparral and California forests on manzanita (Arctostaphylos spp.) and was reported to be restricted to Arctostaphylos pungens in a southern California habitat where the red coloration provides crypsis.
