Serangium is a genus in the lady beetle family (Coccinellidae).
The genus was described by Blackburn in 1889, working in Australia.[1] It had 45 described species in 2011, mainly from the Oriental Region.[2]
In 2018, fossils of two species assigned to the genus, S. twardowskii and S. gedanicum, were described from Baltic amber of Eocene age.[3]

Коровки мелких размеров; в длину достигают 1,5—2,2 мм их тело полушаровидной формы, сильно выпуклое, блестящее, покрыто очень редкими волосками. Голова подогнута, ротовые органы направлены вниз и чуть назад. Усики девятичлениковые; третий их членик длинный, апикальный, очень большой, продольно-овальный[1].
Бёдра плоские, сильно расширены. Голени тонкие, без зубцов[1].
Питаются щитовками и мелкими вредными двукрылыми. Японские представители рода были отмечены питающимися на щитовках рода Ceroplastes и некоторыми представителями белокрылок (Aleyrodidae)[1].
