Ranohira is a monotypic moth genus belonging to the family Tineidae described by Pierre Viette in 1952.[1] It contains only one species, Ranohira silvestris, described by the same author in the same year, which is found in Madagascar. The type locality for this genus is Ranohira, Madagascar.[2]

Ranohira silvestris is een vlinder uit de familie echte motten (Tineidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1952 door Viette.
De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
