Lycenchelys muraena és una espècie de peix de la família dels zoàrcids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Hàbitat
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 350-1.700 m de fondària.[4][7]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a l'Oceà Àrtic: el Canadà, Groenlàndia, Islàndia i Noruega.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][7]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
