This species is recorded in the eastern Pacific from Alaska, Washington and Oregon in the U.S.A., and from Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador (Galapagos Islands).
In Panama this species was collected from southwest of Coiba Island (USNM 34401; Centroid Latitude: Centroid Longitude: -82.08336.2833), by the R. V. Albatross from a depth 3058 m.
