Alimentació
Menja cucs, crustacis i insectes.[7][5]
Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical (23°C-27°C).[5][8]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: l'Amazones peruà, les Guaianes, Veneçuela i la conca del riu Paraguai.[9][5][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
