Asphodelus aestivus (Summer Asphodel) is a species of herb in the family Asphodelaceae. They are native to Mexico. They have dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Old World Swallowtail, Eucera parnassia, Spotted Meliscaeva, and Eucera seminuda.
