Jania adhaerens is a species of red algae in the family Corallinaceae. They are native to Santa Catarina, Piauí, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Sergipe, Rio Grande Do Norte, Ceará, Maranhao, Bahia, and ParaíBa. Dead Jania adhaerens form shallow marine sediments.
