Description: October 10th, 2020 High of 77 degrees Fahrenheit 73 degrees Fahrenheit at capture On a cool, mostly cloudy day with some drizzle, this large snake was observed crossing the trail in front of us by a friend after the sun came out for only a few minutes. It appeared to be migrating from a wooded hillside to a nearby south facing glade. While initially sluggish, as it became aware of our presence it moved much quicker and rattled briefly at us.
