Helicosphaera carteri is a species of Haptophyta in the family Helicosphaeraceae. This species is extinct. They are native to SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Bahia, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande Do Sul. They are passively mobile organisms.
