Eristalinus aeneus (Syrphid Fly) is a species of flies in the family Syrphidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They visit flowers of daisy family, melancholy thistle, Cynanchum acutum, and chondrilla. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 9 mm.
