Phygadeuon wiesmanni has been collected from Anomoia purmunda infesting Crataegus, Myoleja lucida infesting Lonicera, and various Rhagoletis spp. infesting Lonicera, Prunus, Berberis, and Rosa in Europe (Hoffmeister 1992). A second species, Phygadeuon exiguus, has been collected from Myoleja lucida infesting Lonicera; and a third species, P. elegans, has been reared from Rhagoletis cerasi infesting Prunus, also in Europe (Hoffmeister 1992).
