Clethra (Sweetpepperbush) is a genus of woody plants in the family clethras. They are native to Asia. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Rhinotragus festivus, Polybia minarum, marimbondo-tatu (wasp), and Scaptotrigona bipunctata.
