Retama monosperma (Bridal Broom) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, photosynthetic stem leaves. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera, Andrena vulcana, Bombus terrestris canariensis, and Bombus terrestris lusitanicus. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
