Centrosema virginianum (Spurred Butterfly Pea) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Pantanal, The Contiguous United States, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amapá, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso, Sergipe, ParaíBa, Distrito Federal, Pará, Amazônia, Paraná, Piauí, GoiáS, Acre (Brazil), Caatinga, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahia, Pampa, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Alagoas, and Rio Grande Do Norte. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.38 m.
