Plathymenia reticulata is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Minas Gerais, Amazônia, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Pará, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, GoiáS, Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Maranhao. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 3 m.
