Stylosanthes hamata (Cheesytoes) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Piauí, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Caatinga, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, ParaíBa, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by White Peacock and Southern Skipperling. Individuals can grow to 3 m.
