Casuarina equisetifolia (Beach Sheoak) is a species of tree in the family Casuarinaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Vanuatu, Australia, Fiji, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Myanmar. Beach Sheoak has simple, scale leaf leaves and red flowers. It fixes nitrogen. It is a photoautotroph.
