Prunus persica (Peach) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Battus philenor hirsuta, Phocides urania, root-maggot flies, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 6.3 m.
