Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Syritta pipiens, Coenosia tigrina, Common carder bumblebee, and Neocrepidodera transversa. Individuals can grow to 0.87 m.
