Erigeron sumatrensis (Tall Fleabane) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, Distrito Federal, Alagoas, Paraná, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, Santa Catarina, RondôNia, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Rio Grande Do Sul, Pará, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amazônia, GoiáS, and Pernambuco. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Eumenes mediterraneus, Marine Blue, Ammophila heydeni, and blue-winged grasshopper. Individuals can grow to 2.9 m.
