Asplenium formosum (Showy Spleenwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family spleenworts. They are native to Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, GoiáS, Ceará, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, Alagoas, and SãO Paulo. They have alternation of generations.
