Ocotea leucoxylon (Loblolly Sweetwood) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Maranhao, AmazôNia, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
