Caulophyllum thalictroides (Blue Cohosh) is a species of perennial herb in the family Berberidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Parasitoid wasp, Sarcophaga sinuata, Bracon pygmaeus, and Microgaster gelechiae. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
