Boehmeria cylindrica (Smallspike False Nettle) is a species of shrub in the family Urticaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Sergipe, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Canada, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Eastern North America, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Cerrado, Paraná, Maranhao, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, GoiáS, North America, Bahia, Alagoas, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Polistes bellicosus. Individuals can grow to 3.9 feet.
