Hippobroma longiflora (Madamfate) is a species of shrub in the family bellflowers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, U.S. Virgin Islands, Alagoas, Cerrado, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Paraná, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, Maranhao, Caribbean Islands, Caatinga, Pernambuco, Roraima, Minas Gerais, Pará, Ceará, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit.
