It is native to the contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, Greenland, Canada, Alaska, United States, North America, and western north america. Arctic Grey Willow has simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Eupeodes luniger (Meigen 1822). Arctic Grey Willow is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 20 feet.
