Mollugo verticillata (Green Carpetweed) is a species of annual herb in the family carpet-weeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, The Contiguous United States, ParaíBa, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Santa Catarina, Piauí, Sergipe, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, Pampa, SãO Paulo, Maranhao, RondôNia, Roraima, Bahia, AmazôNia, Caatinga, Alagoas, Pará, Paraná, Tocantins, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Polistes, NO NAME!, and Bombylius pulchellus. Individuals can grow to 0.1 m.
