They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Elis, Brown-belted Bumblebee, Eastern Cicada Killer, and Nevada Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 4.9 feet.
