Waltheria indica (Uhaloa) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They are native to SãO Paulo, The Hawaiian Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Pará, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Acre (Brazil), Rio Grande Do Norte, GoiáS, Alagoas, US Minor Outlying Islands, Paraná, Ceará, ParaíBa, Amapá, Amazônia, Roraima, Pantanal, Distrito Federal, Hawaii, Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, North America, U.S. Virgin Islands, Piauí, Bahia, Maranhao, Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, Tocantins, Eastern North America, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, and Santa Catarina. They have loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Zebra Longwing, Honey bee, Polybia sericea, and Callicista columella istapa.
