Ribes cereum (Wax Currant) is a species of shrub in the family gooseberries. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America and United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polygonia gracilis zephyrus, Anise Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus glaucus, and Hunt bumble bee. Individuals can grow to 0.91 m.
