Bursera simaruba (Gumbo Limbo) is a species of tree in the family Burseraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Florida, Amazônia, The Neotropics, The Contiguous United States, Roraima, Puerto Rico, US Minor Outlying Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have compound, broad leaves, green flowers, and drupes. Individuals can grow to 60 feet.
