Dodonaea viscosa (Florida Hopbush) is a species of shrub in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and The Hawaiian Islands. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Cheloninae, Toxomerus, cixiid planthoppers, and house fly. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
