Spondias mombin (Hog Plum) is a species of tree in the family Anacardiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Acre (Brazil), Minas Gerais, AmazôNia, GoiáS, Maranhao, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Puerto Rico, Asia, Roraima, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Distrito Federal, RondôNia, Piauí, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, Amapá, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Cerrado, SãO Paulo, Sergipe, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and drupe. Flowers are visited by Braunsapis bouyssoui. Individuals can grow to 31 m.
