Sphaeralcea coccinea (Scarlet Globemallow) is a species of biennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, United States, Western North America, The Americas, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Small Carpenter Bees, Brown-belted Bumblebee, Irbisia solani, and hummingbirds. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
