Kallstroemia maxima (Big Caltrop) is a species of shrub in the family Zygophyllaceae. They have a procumbent growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Alagoas, Puerto Rico, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, The Contiguous United States, Caatinga, Pernambuco, and Piauí. Flowers are visited by Callicista columella istapa.
