Scandix pecten-veneris (Shepherdsneedle) is a species of annual herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Coenonympha california. Individuals can grow to 0.23 m.
