Fumana arabica is a much branched shrublet that reaches up to 15-30 cm, with prostrate and ascending stems. Leaves are alternate, elliptic to linear-lanceolate, with acute apex, and slightly revolute margins, the upper leaves are glandular-hairy. Flowers are with 5 yellow petals with pale orange marks at base and are produced solitary or in loose racemes. The fruit is a globose-ovoid capsule, with short hairs at the tip only, otherwise glabrous, smooth, and glossy.
