Hexasepalum sarmentosum (Tropical Buttonweed) is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They are climbers. They have a procumbent growth form. They are native to SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, Piauí, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, Ceará, ParaíBa, Caatinga, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Rio De Janeiro, Tocantins, Bahia, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves.
