Centaurea cyanus (Garden Cornflower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Eupeodes corollae, Orange-legged furrow bee, Red tailed bumblebee, and Early bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.53 m.
